I love native plants because they are beneficial to the environment, adapted to our relatively wet winters and dry summers, and (last but not least) are beautiful!  I also incorporate non-native, naturalized plants which perform well in our Mediterranean climate in many of my designs, if desired.  Each design is a process of working with the client to understand what their ideal landscape looks like and making it into a reality – all while taking into account sun exposure, mature plant size, soil conditions, design themes, etc., to ensure peak performance and aesthetics of each landscape.  Aside from Native Plant Gardens and Pollinator Gardens, I also have experience in many other garden/landscape formats, such as Tropical, Desert, Shade Garden, Moon Garden, Classical Garden, Cottage-Garden, etc., so every design can be tailored to each individual client’s ideal garden/landscape!  Click Here to see our Gallery of example work that showcases different design themes for inspiration.
